isn’t 2 1/2 months a little early to be teething? jeremiah has started drooling profusely, and he never drooled before, so i’m just guessing that’s what it is. he hasn’t acted like his mouth hurts though. ?
jeremiah looks sooo long now…i need to get him measured, but he has to be over 24 inches now. imagine, my little munchkin, 2 feet long!!
he is such a sweet, happy baby. we are so blessed to have his little spirit in our hearts and lives!
guess how well he slept last night? from 10pm to 5am. i’m saying straight-through, no waking up. how nice is that?
also, i know i mentioned my breastmilk has been coming in better…it’s doing great! today, jeremiah has only had 8oz of formula all day, the rest of his feedings have been breastmilk! yay!!

Hey Jenn!! Ian started drooling like crazy around 2 1/2 months as well. Around 3 months, he started chewing on his hands. We couldn’t keep his hands out of his mouth if we wanted to! And day before yesterday he screamed all day long. He wasnt interested in toys or me or his daddy or anything. It was a miserable day. So I am pretty sure he’s in the teething process.

One lady told me that her baby started teething at 8 weeks but the first tooth never came up until he was 4 1/2 months old!!

So I definitely think Jeremiah could be teething! Soon he’ll start chewing on those cute little fists! =)

Probably so, but it could still be a couple of months before you see the first tooth. Cole has been drooling really bad for a few weeks. When they get into heavy teething the gum area will turn red and swell some. All babies are different though. My oldest had his first tooth at 4 months and a cousin of mine had her first at 2 months. Good luck and I hope he is feeling better real soon.

Hi Jenn, gosh it could be teething. My brother was born with a small tooth if you can believe that. Is he chewing on his hand a lot? Teething goes on forever and the lucky parents have all teeth in before age 2. But the rest of us have to wait till age 3 or 4.
Isn’t it amazing how fast babies grow? Soon he won’t be an infant anymore but a baby. SItting up and crawling before you know it. Then you sit back and wonder where all the time went. How is Jeremiah sleeping now a days?
    Hugs JenD:bear:
